Hellboy creator Mike Mignola reinvents SpongeBob for the charity auction

IHellboy creator, Mike Mignola made his one-of-a-kind interpretation of the beloved resident Di Bikini Bottom, SpongeBob SquarePants, Patrick Stella, Squidward Tentacle and Sandy Cheeks. The award-winning graphic novel author is auctioning off these original (and haunting) sketches to support chef Jose Andres' World Central Kitchen as it provides meals to those in need due to natural disasters and the recent COVID-19 pandemic. .

Famous Chef's rapidly expanding charity, World Central Kitchen sets up camp kitchens to feed thousands of people who have been victims of hurricanes, earthquakes, tornadoes or floods with their hot meals. Andres has transformed five of his Washington DC restaurants and his New York outlet, Little Spain, into community kitchens. The organization has served over 1 million meals since their pandemic response work began a month ago. Across the country, World Central Kitchen is working with partners to coordinate food deliveries across 160 distribution points, serving over 150.000 securely packaged fresh meals. Now serving nearly 100.000 meals a day, WCK's Chefs for America is responsible for delivering meals through 346 restaurants in 567 school districts.
