Sony delays Hollywood Monster Hunter movie to April 23, 2021 - News

 Deadline entertainment news website Friday reported that Sony Pictures is delaying its live-action film on the action game adaptation CAPCOM'S Monster hunter  From September 4 to April 23, 2021. Deadline assumed that the reason was due to A quiet place 2 the film will be released on September 4th and also due to the new coronavirus disease (COVID-19), the releases scheduled for August will likely be delayed until the fall.

 The film began production in October 2018 and wrapped principal photography in December 2018. The film has a budget of approximately $ 60 million. Sony Pictures is distributing the film in North America and TOHO is distributing the film in Japan.

Behind our world, there is another: a world of dangerous and powerful monsters who rule their domain with deadly ferocity. When Lieutenant Artemis (Milla Jovovich) and his loyal soldiers are transported from our world to the new world, the elusive Lieutenant receives the shock of his life. The film will be played by star Milla Jovovich (Resident Evil franchise film) as the original character in the film Captain Natalie Artemis e martial arts actor Tony Jaa (Ong Bak film series) such as “The Hunter”. Furthermore, Ron Perlman (Hellish boy film series, Pacific Rim, Sons of Anarchy) plays the admiral, who is the leader of The Hunter's crew.
