"Ada Twist, Scientist" the animated series about science on Netflix in 2021
Netflix announces preschool animated series by Chris Nee and Higher Ground Productions Ada Twist, scientist, based on the hit book series by author Andrea Beaty and illustrator David Roberts. Kerri Grant is executive responsible for the 40-minute 40-episode series, which will debut globally in 12. Wonder Worldwide (The Christmas Chronicles) also acts as a production partner for the show.
The story of Ada Twist
The series features Ada Twist, a young scientist explorer, who will help people with her important scientific breakthroughs, collaboration and friendship. The project marks the first series under the general agreement with Peabody, Humanitas and Emmy Award winning children's television creator Nee (Doc McStuffins / Doc McStuffins, Vampirin) and his production company Laughing Wild.
Ada Twist, scientist follows the adventures of Ada Twist, an eight-year-old girl, a petite scientist with gigantic curiosity, who aspires to discover the truth about absolutely everything. With the help of her two best friends, Rosie Revere and Iggy Peck, Ada unravels and solves mysteries for her friends and family. But solving the mystery is just the beginning, because science doesn't just learn how, why and what… it's about putting this knowledge into action, to make the world a better place. The series will also include the presence of real scientists, to inspire young viewers.

Grant (Doc McStufins, Nella the princess knight), Peabody and Humanitas winner and Emmy nominee, is also co-executive producer and story editor of the new series.

The series is produced in collaboration with former President Barack Obama and Michelle Obama's Higher Ground Productions (American factory, Crip Camp, Becoming), dedicated to powerful storytelling that fosters greater empathy, understanding and connections between people and raises new and different voices.
