"Together with Rosie" is aimed at an audience of preschool girls aged 3 to 7. Directed by Jean Flynn and John Offord, it is inspired by the character of Rosie Rags that Marsha Rae Ratcliff created for her book dedicated to children, published in 1989.

CHARACTERS
The protagonist of the cartoon is Rosie, a little girl who lives in a futuristic pink house set in the green of the English meadows. Bizarre is also the appearance of Rosie with her hair made of colored ribbons, but with two big blue eyes and clothing very similar to that of modern girls, with a practical pink skirt and two comfortable sneakers on her feet. Rosie lives in her big house with the Toppolo bunny and is surrounded by a swarm of friends, humans and animals. In each episode she is called to solve a little big problem and, after having had the solution idea, she always makes use of the collaboration of the other characters.
Rosie's pets have anthropomorphic characteristics: they talk, play and there are those who own a real home. Their appearance is not entirely "animalistic" because they come in decidedly unusual colors.

The bunny Top polo it is of a beautiful turquoise color and walks on two legs; it has very little of the rodent and one senses that it is a rabbit for decidedly long ears. He's quite childish, he looks like Rosie's younger brother, but he always poses like a wise old man.
Then we find the toucan Celeste's, a species of tropical parakeet, characterized by a plumage with a lively turquoise color, with a beak of many shades and a beautiful yellow tail composed of ribbons. She is a bit naive, since she is convinced she has magical powers and is always not very careful about what happens.
Big bear he is a large blue plantigrade who walks around in a heavy sweater, and has a calm and patient character.
Patient is also the Mr. Oak, the big tree that is on top of the hill just in front of Rosie's house, from its position dominates the valley and often our friends find themselves right under its branches.
The other humans who animate the story are two children: Mino, he too with hair made up of ribbons and his little sister Lola.
To give an idea of this animated series, here is the summary of two episodes.

The episode opens with a view of Rosie's house and a rolling green bush that is wandering in her garden.
Inside, our protagonist is washing the dishes with Toppolo's help. Suddenly there is a knock on the door, but when the conglietto opens he finds himself alone in front of a bush, so he closes the door without asking himself many questions. In the bush, however, Mino is hidden, who chuckles satisfied at having found a perfect hiding place.
When Rosie asks the hare who was at the door, she hears the reply that it was a bush, so the child is very perplexed, but there is no way to continue the discussion because at that moment the little Lola and Big Bear they are looking for arrive. Mino. They were playing hide and seek, but now the baby is nowhere to be found. Rosie does not let herself be begged and together with Toppolo offers to help them find him.
They all come to Mr. Quercia who is confabulating with Celeste, who assures him that with his magical powers he will be able to make him disappear, but although he pronounces the magic formula with the best of intentions, the big tree just doesn't disappear and this saddens him a lot. He explains that he would like to become invisible because he would like to play hide and seek like children do, Rosie comforts him and assures him that she will be able to hide it.
With Toppolo he gets to work with colors, paper and scissors and they prepare what will be the tree's disguise. It is a large colored mask which is placed in front of Mr. Quercia's trunk and which camouflages him perfectly.
Mr. Quercia, however, is not satisfied with his disguise, because he cannot move from his hill, while he wishes he could go to the playground to have fun with his friends. Rosie thinks the only way to make him happy is to drag him to the area where the rides are, but despite having a sturdy rope attached around his trunk and everyone applies maximum force, the tree just doesn't move. Mr. Quercia must resign himself to staying where he is.
Meanwhile, Mino inside the rolling bush is happy because he is convinced that even with the help of Rosie and Toppolo they will not be able to find him, but he is bored: he is too good at hiding and so he always remains alone when he plays hide and seek. At that moment she falls on her Celestial bush, which she was also pulling the rope to move for Mr. Oak.

Rosie is sorry for not being able to hide Mr. Quercia well, but while she is spreading a blanket in the sun she has an idea and so with a heavy bucket in her hand and in the company of Toppolo, she goes back to the big tree. In the bucket he hides a huge blue sheet and with the help of the Great Bear, Celeste and the clouds that are right in that portion of the sky manage to lower the sheet onto the tree and hide it completely.
Everyone is satisfied, but in that while Toppolo announces that the bush he had seen earlier at the door is now heading towards them. Rosie smiles and, as she has a doubt, invites everyone to hide under the big sheet. The bush rolls up to the top of the hill and Mino finally decides to leave, but he doesn't see any of his friends. Where have they all gone?
He hears himself giggling: Mr. Quercia is satisfied that his hiding place has worked and then, pulling the sheet aside, they all appear. Mino is excited about that hiding place and everyone is happy. When covered in this way, Mr. Quercia looks like a playhouse and so everyone takes shelter under the sheet and plays until evening.
When night falls, Rosie and Toppolo are in bed in their bedroom and the bunny asks the little girl if she would like to become invisible, pointing out that there are also some disadvantages, such as the fact that she should constantly tell everyone where she is. Rosie states that she knows a way to become invisible and wants to try it for a little while. In fact, he turns off the light and suddenly they become invisible: at that point all that remains is to wish him goodnight.

Toppolo, very pleased with himself, shows Rosie how good he is at playing yoyo. He has practiced a lot and now he wants to show his skill. The girl asks him to try and he tells her that it will take a lot of patience to succeed, but the girl is immediately very skilled to the great amazement of the bunny.
At that moment the Celestial parakeet comes fluttering through the open door. She is desperate and keeps repeating that she no longer finds him. It is not easy to understand what he has lost, then finally the toucan, having found a bit of calm, explains that he no longer finds his new nest: someone has stolen it.
Rosie tries to clarify a bit and asks Celeste when she saw the nest for the excellent time, then together with Toppolo she goes to the place where the disappeared nest was. Celeste accompanies them desperately to the tree with a braided trunk where there are small acorns that jump on the branches. Celeste says that the glands loved her new nest very much, but Rosie points out that they do not seem at all disturbed by the disappearance, indeed they seem very happy.
Topolo, posing as an expert, explains to Celeste that the first thing to do is to look for clues. There must be some small things that have fallen from the nest, or some footprints, but there is nothing and Celeste continues to be desperate.
The three decide to go to Mr. Quercia, from his position at the top of the hill he may have seen what has happened. The big tree claims that the nest is in its branches where it has always been, but it is explained to him that what has disappeared is Celeste's new nest, but unfortunately he has not seen anything.
Rosie then decides to go look for Big Bear, maybe he knows something, meanwhile Celeste, desperate, flies to the playground where she meets Lola and tells her what happened. The little girl asks when she saw the nest for the last time and the bird gets irritated saying that the only thing anyone can do is ask her that stupid question. Lola invites her to swing on the swing, to console herself a little, then tells her to go to Big Bear who could help.
However, the blue bear in the sweater has not seen anything and asks Celeste once again when he saw the nest for the last time, this time however Celeste's reaction is hysterical and accuses him of being the thief of the nest. He assures her he would never do that, but she flies away in despair. Rosie and Toppolo decide to go after her before she wrongfully accuses someone else and she's not wrong. In fact, Celeste meets Mino who plays basketball with a wooden basket that he has fixed to the trunk of a tree and immediately accuses him too and then goes even more desperate.

At this point Rosie proposes to build a new one, since they can't find hers and so here everyone is busy with sticks, tufts of grass, pieces of colored fabric to make the nest as welcoming as possible and, after placing it in a cart, they bring it to Signor Quercia to see. Celeste is increasingly desperate, but when she learns that her friends have built a new nest for her she is moved.
In the meantime, some glands come hopping and happily recount that they have been playing in Celeste's new nest. At this point Rosie asks them if they can accompany them to the place where they last saw him. The glands do not let themselves be prayed to and lead them to the foot of a tree with a twisted trunk. Among the branches you can see a beautiful nest and everyone asks Celeste if that is the tree where she had built the nest. The bird first denies it, then admits that it probably got confused in the trees that are absolutely similar. Rosie tells her that at least she must apologize to all her friends for having accused them unfairly, then suggests that she take the nest to a place where it is easier to find it. So he is transferred between the branches of Mr. Quercia who is happy to host Celeste again, while the nest built by Rosie and the others is given to the little acorns who are delighted.
