The animated film is set in the American city of Tuscumbia in Alabama and stars Helen Keller, a girl who, at the age of six months, has become blind and deaf due to an illness. Commiserated and pampered by her parents, Helen lives without rules and does not know what discipline is and becomes a spoiled, wild and angry child beyond the control of her parents. Her father now does not consider her a person capable of thinking, but as an entity to be supported for the quiet life. Her mother instead dreams that one day her daughter will be able to communicate with the world, so they hire a teacher for the language of the deaf and dumb. The young Anna Sullivan arrives and after several fierce physical and mental battles with Helen, she convinces the Kellers to need two weeks to be alone with the girl in order to make progress in her education. At that moment, Anna begins to discipline Helen through consistency and teaches her to communicate through hand signals, a double advancement that changes Helen's life and has a direct effect on the lives of all family members, which ultimately they will be able to communicate with their daughter. A dramatic and moving animated film suitable for an audience of adolescents, which teaches solidarity and consistency in working with people with disabilities.
