Aru Asa Dummy Head Mike ni Natteita Ore-kun no Jinsei (あ る 朝 ダ ミ ー ヘ ッ ド マ イ ク に な っ て い た 俺 ク ン の 人生, Aru Asa Damī Heddo Maiku ni Natteita Ore-kun no Jinsei, "My Life After I Beummy) One Morning") is a new Japanese television anime series on ASMR- animated by Ekachi Epilka and Indivision and directed by Yoshinobu Kasai. The original character designs are provided by cura, while Yoshinori Ōtsuka adapts the designs for animation. The series will debut in October 2022 on Tokyo MX.
The official Twitter account of the original TV anime Aru Asa Dummy Head Mike ni Natteita Ore-kun no Jinsei (My life after I became a fictional head microphone one morning) announced on Monday that Tomokazu Sugita will be playing Ore-kun, who has reincarnated in a fictional microphone. He will later reincarnate as a bicycle saddle, fried chicken, dog, ruler, and more.
The slapstick comedy revolves around a protagonist who has been reincarnated in a fake head microphone (a microphone embedded in a fake human head to faithfully record the auditory atmosphere). That fake head microphone is used by Yuri and other high school girls at an ASMR club, who have their sights set on the “ASMR Kōshien” high school championships. (ASMR or Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response is the tingling or relaxing sensation that occurs in response to stimuli such as certain sounds or sights.)
Director Yoshinobu Kasai (Episode Director Demon Lord, Retry!) Reunites with INDIVISION and EKACHI EPILKA studios after working together on another ASMR-themed anime, 180-Byō de Kimi no Mimi or Shiawase ni Dekiru ka? Midori Otsuka (the Kamen no Maid Guy add-on design) is adapting the original character designs from Cura (Private Tutor to the Duke's Daughter) for animation.
The anime was originally announced as Yuri no Aida ni Hasamareru. Aru Asa Dummy Head Mike ni Natteita Ore-kun no Jinsei (Caught Between a Yuri Relationship. My Life After I Became a Dummy Head Microphone One Morning) before the staff reduced the title.
