At the View Conference 2021 in Turin, Byron Howard the director of Encanto

The View Conference 2021 is pleased to announce a special virtual presentation on the making of the upcoming animated film from Walt Disney Animation Studios ENCANTO. The jury includes director Byron Howard, production designer Ian Gooding and assistant production designer Lorelay Bové. ENCANTO is slated for a theatrical release on November 24, 2021.

ENCANTO introduces us to the Madrigals, an extraordinary family that lives in an enchanted city hidden in the mountains of Colombia. Every member of the Madrigal family is blessed with a special power except one, Mirabel (Stephanie Beatriz). Featuring original songs by award-winning Lin-Manuel Miranda, ENCANTO invites audiences to follow Mirabel on her extraordinary quest to save the magic of Encanto itself.

The ENCANTO presentation is broadcast online on the last day of the 2021 VIEW Conference, Friday October 22nd, at 12pm PDT, and is FREE. During the session, Byron Howard, Ian Gooding and Lorelay Bové will take the VIEW Conference attendees behind the scenes of the making of the film, with a special emphasis on the vibrant graphics of ENCANTO. Following the presentation, The Hollywood Reporter's Carolyn Giardina hosts an exclusive Q&A with Howard and his creative team.

For the second consecutive year, participation in the VIEW Conference 2021 is completely FREE. A simple registration process unlocks access to all sessions and is available via the official website.
