“Baba Yaga” the trailer of the animated film by Baobab Studios
Baobab Studios, the animation studio that made the animations Asteroids!, Invasion! e Bonfire, released the trailer for his next fantasy work, Baba Yaga. The trailer introduces us to dark woods and mysterious environments, full of suspense and magic.
Directed and written by the co-founder of Baobab Studios Eric Darnell (Madagascar franchise, Antz) and co-directed by Mathias Chelebourg, the film Baba Yaga is portrayed laid down by the Oscar winner Kate Winslet, Daisy Ridley Academy Award winner and three-time Grammy winner, Jennifer Hudson three-time Golden Globe winner e Glenn Close seven times nominated for an Oscar.
The film is a contemporary depiction of an Eastern European legend, animated in 2D illustration style, with a mix of hand-drawn and stop-motion technique, creating a modern graphic style for virtual reality inspired by classic animation . Leveraging the studio's award-winning animation pioneers and interactive game veterans, Baba Yaga blends theater, cinema, interactivity, artificial intelligence and animation in a unique experience that explores the themes of personal growth and environmentalism.

The animated film Baba Yaga by Baobab Studios will be released on Oculus Quest in early 2021.
