THE YOGHI BEAR

Yogi and Bubu reconstructed in CGI graphicsFrom Friday 14 January the most beloved snacks-stealing bear in the cartoon world, arrives on the big screen in 3D - Live Action with a new adventure. L'Bear Yogi has always relied on cunning and quick escape to escape the furious campers and outwit his historic opponent, the Ranger Smith, but now he and Bubu are faced with a new and troubling situation they never expected. Jellystone Park is about to be sold! To hide the poor administration of city funds and finance his election campaign, Mayor Brown has decided to sell the park to timber traders. Families will no longer be able to enjoy the natural beauty that Jellystone has always offered and, even more terrifyingly, Yogi, Bubu and all their friends will be driven from their homeland, from the only home they ever had. Faced with this almost impossible challenge, Yogi and Bubu prepare a trapYogi must prove that he is truly `` smarter than the average bear '' and with Bubu and Ranger Smith find a way to save the park from permanent closure. The original cast includes Anna Faris as nature documentary director Rachel Johnson; Tom Cavanagh as the diligent Ranger Smith; TJ Miller is Smith's ever-enthusiastic deputy, Ranger Jones; Andrew Daly is the dishonest Mayor Brown; and Nate Corddry, Brown's chief of staff. The Yogi Bear is directed by Eric Brevig and produced by Donald De Line and Karen Rosenfelt.

In this story, the stakes have never been higher for Yogi and Bubu. This time it is not about the headache that Yogi's thefts cause to Ranger Smith: it is the very fate of the park that is in danger. Corrupt Mayor Brown has squandered the city's funds and now wants to hide his embezzlement, and finance his election campaign to become governor, by giving Jellystone to the lumber traders in exchange for a large check. For Yogi and Bubu it means saying goodbye to their `` tana, sweet den '' and getting away from all their animal friends, not to mention Ranger Smith, while for the locals it means the loss of the incomparable beauty of the park. That's enough for a bear to lose his appetite. The good news is that saving Jellystone Park will require all of Yoghi's brilliant inventiveness, style and valor, not to mention a good dose of self-promotion, as well as Bubu's charm and good humor. Together they will face this new challenge as they do every day of their lives: as a team. Their mission is so important that they will join forces with a person they have always carefully avoided: Ranger Smith, played by Tom Cavanagh. Helping them is a new character, documentarian Rachel Johnson, played by Anna Faris, who comes to Jellystone for a job and is enchanted by the park and also by Ranger Smith.

Ranger Smith and documentary filmmaker Rachel Johnson in the Yogi Bear threadThe Yogi Bear is unmistakably characterized with its pear shape, a green hat and a bow tie, always ready to steal the snack baskets of the unfortunate tourists, since it believes it is smarter than the average of the bears in the park. Jellystone. Despite the strict rules of the park, Yogi always does his own thing and when he is attracted by his irresistible appetite, he cannot restrain the urge to grab the food and run away. The original cartoon of Hanna and Barbera was written to entertain adults and children and this film for the whole family reflects the same intention: to unite two generations to follow the adventures of the cute bear. Today's children who watch Yogi for the first time will see him only as a big, slightly crazy bear building planes out of camping junk, while everyone else will find the characters they know and love.

Shot entirely in 3D with latest generation photography, Yoghi Yoghi's film is a mix of high technology in that the definition, the precision of the details obtained with the new 3D machines is excellent. The technique has become so sophisticated and precise that the director and the set designers have taken all the visual opportunities that the story offers: action and comedy with enchanting views, so that people feel right at the Jellystone Park interior.

Yogi and Bubu first appeared on television in 1958, as part of Hanna-Barbera's Braccobaldo Show, the first cartoon series to win an Emmy Award for Best Children's Program. The pair's popularity led to a spin-off in 1961, followed by a comic book and, in 1964, to their big screen debut. In the following years, the light-hearted freeloader and his faithful friend appeared in numerous series, specials, films and DVD collections. But one theme has always remained constant: friendship.
