Protagonists:

Ben the elf: she is 6 years old and lives with her parents, the Elf Lord and Mrs. Elf in the big elf tree, at number 4. She is little less than a strawberry, she wears blue clothes and always has a triangle hat on her head, with a lobed leaf on top, from which orange hair and two long pointed ears emerge. Like all elves, he always carries a horn that blows vigorously to emphasize his elven origins.

Holly the princess-fairy: he is 6 years old and lives with his parents, the King and Queen Cardo in the castle of the kingdom. He has two twin sisters, Daisy and Poppy. Like Ben, she is a few centimeters tall, has a pink triangle-shaped dress to match the shoes, two purple wings and long blond hair under a golden crown. Curious and eager to make spells, she uses her wand to do magic, even if the results are not always the best.

Episode 5 - Daisy and Poppy

In the small castle, Holly's royal family is gathered at the table for breakfast. Tata Susina announces that morning's menu: porridge! Everyone is happy and hungry, but the pot on the table is empty The twins Daisy and Poppy will have to prove their magical ability and fill the pot to feed the family. In no time at all, the porridge appears, amid the satisfied applause of mom and dad, but, perhaps, the two fairies take a little too much taste and scream of Ancora! Again! porridge floods the room, drowning everyone! Luckily there is Tata Susina to restore order! Mom tells Holly to take the two little sisters to play with her in the afternoon. Although unenthusiastic about the idea, Holly accepts and goes out with friends Ben, Barnaby, Fiore and Gastone on a beautiful sunny day. `` Please, '' says the Queen, `` don't go out of the castle. The twins are still small and it could be dangerous! . Forget it! After transforming Fiore into a meowing cat, the two fairies take off and pass the high crenellated walls. Soon! Holly, Ben and friends have to rush to get them home! Once reached, they decide together to play hide-and-seek, but the situation does not improve The twins, in fact, have become so involved with magic that they transform everyone into animals. And it does not only touch friends, but, once they reach the great elven tree, it is the turn of the elven tenants, who turn into big rabbits. Once again, it will take the intervention of Tata Susina to bring everything back to normal and bring the little pests back into the castle to mum and dad!

Episode 48 - The Elf Submarine

On the shores of the Elven Lake, a very special day is about to begin. The wise elf is introducing Mr. Elf, King Thistle, Nanny Plum, Ben and Holly to the new creation of the elf factory. This is a submarine, a new Santa Claus delivery game! Everyone is in admiration, when suddenly the mythical pirate elf Barbarossa appears on the horizon, with the boat loaded with treasures. But what happens? Perhaps weighed down by too much load, the ship sinks, dragging Barbarossa's booty with it. No fear! There is a way to retrieve chests and jewels - all aboard the submarine! And so, everyone plunges in search of gold. But the adventure immediately reveals itself full of dangers The lake is inhabited by the great fish Barry, who greedy for elven boats, has smelled the new wreck and the submarine! And so, in no time at all, elves and fairies find themselves in the big belly of the fish. It seems impossible to get out of such a situation, but luckily Tata Susina speaks the language of animals! `` Don't worry '' he says `` I'll take care of it! ''. In a strange and unknown language, the Nanny says something incomprehensible to the huge Barry and he, in response, begins to laugh out loud! Soon! It is the right time to get out of the open mouth! And so, the submarine is safe and can return to the mainland. Everyone is safe, but what did Nanny Plum say to Barry to make him laugh so much? Of course, a joke! To Ben's curiosity, the Nanny replies: `` Here's what I said to the big fish. Where do the fish keep their money? In a stall at the market! I know, it's not funny, but fish laugh at everything! .

The Ben and Holly series is currently airing on 43 Nickelodeon group channels worldwide. It is mainly aimed at preschool children. Set entirely in nature and pervaded by a halo of magic, it wants to stimulate the curiosity of the little ones and develop a ecological sense of respect for the environment in which we live. From the point of view of style, the graphics are very different from that of the more famous Peppa Pig (produced by Astley Baker Davies herself). THE traits are here linear and angular, favoring shapes such as the triangle or the square, unlike the rounded and round shapes of Peppa & Co. The colors are bright, full and complementary, the two-dimensional designs capture the attention of the spectators. Given the excellent audience share, the prospects are the best for the birth of a new television case of collective falling in love.
