The segments were combined and made into a 53-minute feature film. The series was based on Playskool's Muscle Machines SST (Super-Sized Trucks) toy line which itself was owned by Hasbro.

This cartoon and the other Super Sunday cartoons were animated by Toei Animation in Japan. The show featured animated versions of popular real-life vehicles racing under the banner of the US Hot Rod Association, including Bob Chandler's Bigfoot monster truck, Allen Gaines' Orange Blossom Special two-wheel drive truck, the Black Gold by Kenneth and Paula Geuin. wheel drive tow truck and Dan Patrick's War Lord pulling a fun car.

History

The story is about five people running a public monster truck show driven by Bigfoot driver Yank Justice. [2] Other members of the show include Red & Redder (twin sisters who drive Black Gold), Professor Dee (Orange Blossom Special driver) and Close McCall (War Lord driver).

A young woman named Jennifer McGraw steals an ancient map leading to the Fountain of Youth in Florida from a corrupt senior billionaire named Adrian Ravenscroft, known as “Mr. Big ". Ravenscroft hires a band of henchmen who helped him retrieve the map; they include a man named Ernie Slye and the Ravenscroft limo driver. This gang of criminals pursues Yank Justice and his friends in the United States and tries to kill them.

Eventually, Ravenscroft finds the Fountain and, after drinking its water, transforms into a young man, becoming a much more formidable opponent for Yank.

But Yank and the others destroy the Fountain with their trucks, and Ravenscroft makes one last attempt to defeat Yank by trying to ram his limo into Yank's truck; however, Yank is able to move and Ravenscroft's car is destroyed when he swerves out of control.

Ravenscroft tries to escape, vowing vengeance, but the Fountain's effects wear off and he is quickly transformed back into his old self ... and he is unable to see that he is walking through an alligator-infested swamp, presumably going to meet his fate.

The scene then cuts to the rubble that was once the Fountain of Youth and Jennifer complaining of its destruction. Just as a disgusted McCall leaves, an earthquake forms a large crack… containing a huge fortune in gold, jewelry, and other rare artifacts. As he and several members of the Bigfoot team celebrate their discovery, Yank walks away and Jennifer joins him as they drive into the sunset.
