Five new ways to keep your fish happy in Megaquarium's new Freshwater Frenzy DLC

Mega aquarium is a theme park management game with an aquatic twist. Exhibitor projects, take care of your fish, manage your staff and make your guests happy. Freshwater frenzy is the first Deluxe expansion for Mega aquarium on console. By adding a five-level freshwater-focused campaign, there's a new environment to explore, master and learn new ways to overcome (freshwater) challenges. Here are five ways to master the new challenges freshwater animals bring Mega aquarium.

Freshwater frenzy adds 30 new species of freshwater fish, from the prehistoric Arapaima to the famous piranha. There are seven new tanks to accommodate these new fish, new care requirements to understand and new aquascaping conditions to meet. Do your fresh new dwellers need a floating cover or bog wood? You will need to provide everything they need to keep them happy!

For the first time ever Mega aquarium you can keep baby animals in your aquarium! A selection of the new fish is reproducible, each with their own set of unique breeding requirements, from a special place to spawn, to a specific temperature, it is important that the environment is right to encourage breeding. You will therefore need to raise these puppies and make sure you give them your constant attention.

In addition to breeding, you will also be able to hybridize some species, with selective breeding you will be able to create combinations of colors and patterns that you love. By pairing specific animals together, you will increase your chances of getting the exact hybrid you want. Look for a DNA icon to see which animals to hybridize!

If that doesn't sound like a challenge enough, let me introduce you to the pH scales. Some animals will require you to maintain a specific pH in their tanks, but how will you do that? You can do this by using passive sources or by allowing machines to perform heavy lifting. It is completely up to you.

Freshwater frenzy also adds some new animals: reptiles. The oriental long-necked turtle, the dwarf crocodile and the green anaconda to be exact. These animals all need land and water, and there are new tank designs that house them called Beach Tanks. In addition to the new beach tanks, there are new tanks with hanging platforms, which allow your guests to see the tanks from a whole new perspective.

You will be able to spread this knowledge to people who visit your aquarium as well. There are a number of new accessories added with Freshwater frenzy, one of those posters that can teach your visitors facts and also be a little fun. Their value depends on the contents of the connected tank, so be sure to plan your displays carefully! The other accessories on the way Mega aquarium in Freshwater frenzy are a backpack that doubles the staff member's food carrying capacity, sneakers that increase the wearer's speed, a stick that increases the wearer's feeding capacity, or a tool belt that adds a boost to the wearer's holding capacity. But be careful: they can only be assigned one at a time!
