Nickelodeon's beloved '90s mascot Nick Jr., Face, is back on the net in Face's Music Party, an all-new musical variety show premiering Monday, June 6 at 11am (ET / PT). The new series will join the ongoing “Music Mondays” themed preschool programming block and will air regularly on Mondays at 00:11 (ET / PT) on Nickelodeon.

Before the debut, Nick Jr. unveiled a new trailer and a special clip of an underwater episode that is sure to impress young audiences.

The interactive series combining animation and live action (13 episodes) will feature a reimagined face (voiced by Cedric Williams, Hunter x Hunter, The Promised Neverland) as presenter and VJ, playing modern pop hits and nursery classics revamped to create the maximum music party.

In the first episode, “Robots / Imagination,” Face showcases popular robot-themed music videos and the best songs about imagination. Each episode will highlight the themes that inform the song's playlist and will consist of four segments: a child-friendly music video from famous contemporary artists; remixed songs of iconic nursery rhymes; exploration time in Face's music box, where children can play and learn about an instrument, sound or musical concept; and a high-energy dance finale, with child dancers demonstrating the moves to onlookers at home.

Face first debuted on Nick Jr. on September 5, 1994 and has been the animated host and mascot of Nickelodeon's preschool programming block for over a decade. A good friend of all preschoolers, Face greeted Nick Jr. viewers daily with interstitials, musical shorts, show introductions, and bumpers. With endless color changes, funny voices and silly expressions, Face could also appear in almost any place, use props to dress up and play with other characters on the screen. Face's playful vocals and sound effects, such as the imitation of the three-note trumpet “brr brr brrr”, were a mainstay of Nickelodeon until 10 September 2004.

Face's Music Party is produced by Nickelodeon Animation in Burbank, California in association with Jonas and Company, Inc. David Kleiler is showrunner and executive producer alongside executive producer Hema Mulchandani and executive producer Jonas Morganstein. Nickelodeon's production is overseen by Eryk Casemiro, Executive Vice President, Nickelodeon Animation, Global Series Content. Niki Williams is the executive responsible for producing Nickelodeon for the series.

Starting Monday June 6 and airing Mondays throughout the summer, fans can tune into the Nick Jr. preschool block on Nickelodeon for "Music Mondays," a five-hour programming block (7: 00-12: 00 ET / PT) with music-themed episodes of PAW Patrol, Blaze and the Monster Machines, Bubble Guppies, Peppa Pig, Baby Shark's Big Show! and more, which precedes the first installment of Face's Music Party at 11am "Music Mondays" will continue to air on the Nick Jr. channel from 00pm to 12pm. (ET / PT).
