"CoComelon" gets its spin-off with "It's Cody Time"

Today Moonbug Entertainment launches It's Cody Time, CoComelon's first spin-off channel featuring Cody Green and his loving family. The preschool music series debuts on YouTube with two special episodes, “Cody's Spy Song” and “I'm Going to Be a Big Brother,” followed by a new episode every Wednesday, bringing positive and fun content to kids around the world.

Since his CoComelon debut in 2019, Cody has gone from being JJ's classmate, neighbor, best friend - and now he's ready for his channel. Similar to CoComelon's common themes of childhood fun and celebrating big moments for the little ones, It's Cody Time will include original nursery rhymes and songs. The opening story arc will focus on pregnancy, becoming an older brother and the joys of family, and will aim to help children learn through easily recognizable situations and prepare them for the responsibilities and expectations of their older brother.

Cody's Spy Song: Cody becomes curious when he notices some changes in his home, so he plays the role of the detective and sets out to solve the mystery! He doesn't know, he has a big surprise.

I'm going to be a Big Brother: After the news of his little sister is revealed, Cody isn't sure what to actually expect, so Toni and Kwame teach him all the cool and fun new things he can do as a Big Brother! Meanwhile, Cody wants to try them all with little sister Pickles.

Cody's parents are featured in the show and play a big part in the plot themes. The family, also known as "The Greens", comes from diverse backgrounds. Cody's father, Kwame, is a chef and comes of Jamaican and Ghanaian heritage. His mother, Toni, is African American and works full time as a pediatrician.
