“Corpse Talk” the new children's cartoon on YouTube

YouTube today announced a new children's and family cartoon Corpse Talk, a comedy-driven chat show that brings history to life by showcasing the incredible achievements of a selection of diverse and entertaining historical characters. The 13-episode series will be available exclusively on the Cartoons for Kids YouTube channel and the YouTube Kids app.

The first two episodes of the series will premiere in May on Friday 13, with further episodes due out on Tuesday and Friday.

Produced by Tiger Aspect Kids and Family (Mr. Bean, Charlie and Lola) in the UK, part of Banijay Kids & Family, the series based on the famous graphic novels and comic series (featured in The Phoenix) of the award-winning husband- and -wife creators Adam and Lisa Murphy, a team of comic book creators.

"I am thrilled that the hilarious Adam and Lisa comic that my children read in The Phoenix comic has been made into a series for YouTube Originals," said Tom Beattie, producer of the series and CEO of Tiger Aspect Kids and Family. "All my dad points that I had left are now doubled!"

Corpse Talk is a lethally entertaining, comedy-driven chat show hosted by witty and cheeky Adam (voiced by famed British actor and YouTube creator Joe Sugg), who is very much alive, even though his
famous guests are not. In each episode, Adam will dig the dust on some of the most famous, infamous and incredible figures in history, unearthing the unknown and surprising stories of these incredible characters.

“Tiger Aspect Kids and Family brought us an incredibly rich and dynamic animated chat show that kids will love to watch as they laugh and learn about important historical figures,” said Craig Hunter, Global Head of Kids & Family for YouTube Originals. "Having Joe Sugg as our engaging host is the icing on the cake, adding to the fun and humor of this entertaining show."

Sugg added, “Owing to the Corpse Talk host and working with Tiger Aspect Kids and Family has been a real pleasure. I hope the show brings surprises, entertainment and education in a fun way to the children at home. "

The diverse lineup of reanimated guests in Corpse Talk's first season includes Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Cleopatra, Leonardo da Vinci, George Washington Carver, Julie D'Aubigny, Marie Curie, Nero, Ching Shih, Elizabeth I, Ibn Al-Haytham, Mary Seacole , William the Conqueror and Josephine Baker.

“We are so excited to be working with YouTube and Tiger Aspect Kids
and the family to bring these long-dead stories to life! " shared Adam and Lisa Murphy. “Corpse Talk has been our labor of love for most of a decade and we are thrilled to see the care, insight and brilliant humor that the Tiger Aspect Kids and Family team has brought to the project. We can't wait to welcome the world to the chat show that brings the famous dead back to life!

Corpse Talk joins an expanding roster of YouTube Originals programs aimed at children and families, including Tab Time, Fruit Ninja Frenzy Force, Millie & Lou, Supa Strikas: Rookie Season, Pinkfong Wonderstar, and Super Sema.
