Crunchyroll brings the epic conclusion of “Eureka” to theaters in May

Crunchyroll has announced that it will release the thrilling final chapter of the science fiction trilogy Eureka: Eureka Seven Hi-Evolution in selected theaters in the United States. and Canada from 17 to 18 May, with tickets on sale starting tomorrow (Friday 29 April); and soon to Australia. The film, by bones inc., Will be available in both English dubbing and subtitled.

Eureka: Eureka Seven Hi-Evolution is the latest feature in Eureka's sequel trilogy. The film is set 10 years after the events of the last film, Eureka Seven Hi-Evolution, and follows Eureka who lives alone as an atonement for the destruction of the world. When she meets Iris, a new “Eureka”, the two realize they have a shared destiny and leave for the world. One Eureka has lost her powers and the other is afraid of her new abilities.

The film brings together the creative team behind the Eureka Seven franchise: it is directed by Tomoki Kyoda, who directed the Eureka anime, with the script by Dai Sato (Eureka Seven, Ergo Proxy), character design by Kenichi Yoshida and the music by Naoki Sato (Eureka Seven 2005). The duration is 1 hour and 56 minutes.

Plot: The virtual world inside the scub coral (intelligent coral-like life forms) created by Eureka… The people of that virtual world appeared on Earth 10 years ago when it collapsed. Since this large-scale merger, the humans of the virtual world are called "Green Earth" and the original Earth humans are called "Blue Earth" and they have come to cause various conflicts with each other repeatedly below the surface. Eventually, Dewey Novak, a senior officer in the Green Earth military, stands up with his comrades and finally puts a full-scale terrorist plan into action to protect his dignity.

Meanwhile, Eureka, who is loathed by the world as the main cause of chaos, has become a high-level fighter with the ACID unit. To live to keep this world in peace ...
