Crunchyroll organizes the first cinema screenings of “Solo Leveling” in Europe

Crunchyroll, the global anime outlet, today announced the arrival of Soil Leveling – the new anime series based on the popular Korean manwha by Chugong and illustrator DUBU (REDICE Studio) – which will premiere in select Western European cinemas next month. Produced by A-1 Pictures in Japan, this highly anticipated adaptation has been called one of the flagship titles of the upcoming streaming season. Soil Leveling will be available to stream on Crunchyroll starting in January 2024. Special screenings will premiere the first two episodes of the show (totaling 44 minutes) in three major cities: Paris, France, at Le Grand Rex on December 11, Berlin , Germany, at the Colosseum on December 12 and London, United Kingdom, at Cineworld Leicester Square on December 13. Synopsis: “Whatever doesn't kill you makes you stronger, but in Sung Jinwoo's case, whatever killed him made him stronger. After being brutally slaughtered by monsters in a high-ranking dungeon, Jinwoo returned equipped with the System, a program that only he could see, which is leveling him up in every way. Now he is determined to uncover the secrets behind his powers and the dungeon that spawned them.”

Soil Leveling is animated by A-1 Pictures (Sword Art Online), with motion graphics by Production IG (Attack on Titan, PSYCHO-PASS). The series is directed by Shunsuke Nakashige (Sword Art Online). Other staff members include music by Hiroyuki Sawano (Attack on Titan) and K-pop band TOMORROW X TOGETHER, character designs by Tomoko Sudo, and monster designs by Hirotaka Tokuda. The Japanese voice cast and characters include Taito Ban as Sung Jinwoo, Genta Nakamura as Yoo Jinho, Haruna Mikawa as Sung Jinah, Reina Ueda as Cha Hae-In, Daisuke Hirakawa as Choi Jong-In, Hiroki Touchi as Baek Yoonho, Banjo Ginga as Go Gunhee and Makoto Furukawa as Woo Jinchul. While the English voice cast and characters include Aleks Le as Jinwoo Sung, Justin Briner as Jinho Yoo, Rebecca Wang as Jinah Sung, Michelle Rojas as Hae-In Cha, Ian Sinclair as Jong-In Choi, Christopher R. Sabat as Yoonho Baek, KentWilliams as Gunhee Go and Sung Won Cho as Jinchul Woo. (
