Daytime Emmy: Best Toon Awards for "Paddington", "Hilda" as "Animaniacs" Snags 4 Awards

The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS) announced the winners of the 48th Daytime Emmy® Awards for the Children's & Animation categories on Saturday evening, live streaming of the ceremony on the Emmy OTT platform powered by Vimeo and celebrating more than 30 categories . The children's and animation ceremony was hosted by Daytime Emmy Award nominated singer, songwriter, director and actress Raven-Symoné. Other presenters who appeared were Millie Davis (Odd team, PBS) and Tom Kenny (SpongeBob, Nickelodeon).

Overall, the craft and individual achievement awards were given to some of the year's animated favorites. The first prizes in the series / program were Nickelodeon The Adventures of Paddington (which also took home an award for the writing team), Netflix's' Hilda (also won in editing) and Apple TV + special Here We Are: Notes For Living on Planet Earth (also represented by 3D animator Anne Moth in the Individual Achievement award). The winner of the non-animated children was The Power of Us: A Sesame Street Special (HBO Max), which also took home an award for the writing team.

Hulu's Animaniac reboot took home the most Daytime Emmy Awards with four. Other multiple winners were those of Netflix Go Go! Cory Carson (3), Disney Channel Elena of Avalor (2) and Baobab Studios' Baba Yaga (2)
