In a distant time there were seven kingdoms, each characterized by a precious stone: a diamond, an amethyst, a ruby, a lapis lazuli, an emerald, a topaz and an opal. These were threatened by the power of the demon of the dark realm. A blacksmith proposed to the rulers, the construction of a sacred belt, able to defend their lands from the power of the Lord of the Shadow, so he has all the gems of the seven kingdoms delivered. Thanks to the power of the belt, he defeats the demon and unites the seven kingdoms to form the nation of Deltora, a name that comes from the initials of the seven gems. After several years of tranquility and peace, Deltora is attacked by seven dragons, who disperse the seven gems and make their nation vulnerable when the dark demon awakens. Lief, the blacksmith's son, together with his friends Barda, former guard of the palace and Jasmine, an orphan who understands the language of trees, will have to embark on a journey starting from the Forest of Silence, in search of precious stones, able to the sacred belt. The stones have fallen into the hands of evil men and it will not be an easy task to recover them. The first to be faced is the guardian Gorl, in order to recover the Topaz. Later the three will head towards the Lake of Tears, where they will meet Manus, thanks to which they will be able to defeat the children of the witch Thaegan and recover the ruby. The most difficult obstacle is represented by the same witch Thaegan, who would have had the upper hand if Kree, the raven friend of Jasmine, had not intervened, who wounds the wicked sorceress in the finger and for a mysterious curse, causes her death. In the course of their adventures, they will have to face other revenge-hungry sons of Thaegan, monsters, giants and all sorts of difficulties to recover the remaining precious stones. An exciting series for all lovers of the fantasy anime genre.
