Doomlands is an American adult animated series from 2022, streamed on the Roku Channel and created by Josh O'Keefe. The series is produced by Look Mom! Productions, a subsidiary of Blue Ant Media.
Described by its producer as "Mad Max Meets Cheers in the Mos Eisley Cantina", the setting of the episodes takes place in a post-apocalyptic desolate setting, in a bar on a kind of large Ark II / Landmaster land vehicle, called The Oasis. , owned and operated by the "famous Danny Doom".
In the style of animation and writing, the show appears to be influenced by Superjail! and Rick and Morty.
On June 15, 2022, it was announced that the series was renewed for a second season.
History
The series chronicles the lives of Danny Doom and his staff of oddities throwing beers into a post-apocalyptic wasteland in their bar. They are ordered to fight desert gangs, memory-stealing creeps and bad bathroom graffiti.
