Eikyū Shōnen Eternal Boys: has released the trailer and the date for 10 October

The official site of the original anime Eikyū Shōnen Eternal Boys released the first trailer, a visual and unveiled the start date for the 10 October.

The Eternal Boys are a group of men in their forties who strive to become idols by overcoming the barriers of age and physical condition.

The series will receive a preview for the first four episodes on September 17 in Tokyo in which the cast will participate. On the YouTube channel and on the Twitter account, audio drama will then be uploaded at irregular intervals.

These are the characters and the cast:

Daisuke Hirakawa is Kentarō Sanada, a 40-year-old former employee whose company has gone bankrupt
Katsuyuki Konishi is Naoki Ishida, a 39-year-old former middle school teacher
Jun Fukuyama is Haru Asai, a 35-year-old former footballer

Daisuke Namikawa is Tsuyoshi Imagawa, he is 35 years old and he acted as a child before becoming an enka singer
Toshiyuki Morikawa is Daisuke Yamanaka, 45 years old and was the chief of staff at the talent agency Manpuku Geinō Production
Nozomu sasaki is Makoto Kakizaki, 41 and is the former host No. 1 at the cabaret club

Yuko Noichi is Fukuko Manda
Haruka Chisuga is Pepechan
Yumiri hanamori is Ren Ukita
Hiroki Tochi is Nicolai Asakura

The anime is directed by Migmi by Liden Films, with Kimiko ueno as series supervisor. The story is inspired by the Manpuku Geino Production, which is actually formed from LIDEN FILMS, Fuji TV e Polygon PicturesSeiko Asai adapt the original ma2 chara for the anime, Yukari Hashimoto composes the soundtrack while the direction of the sound is entrusted to Ryō Tanaka.

The anime has already inspired a manga adaptation on Comic Gene di Kadokawa, in which theHuman Academy Performing Arts College.
