Revealed the first images of "Raya and the Last Dragon" the next Disney movie

Walt Disney Animation Studios has unveiled images of the warrior Raya and his trusty steed Tuk Tuk, based on the upcoming original feature film Raya and the Last Dragon. The study also revealed it Kelly Marie Tran who will voice Raya, joining Awkwafina as the voice of the dragon, Sisu.

Oscar-winning director Don Hall (Big Hero 6) and Carlos López Estrada (Blindspotting) are directing, with co-directors Paul Briggs (head of story, Big Hero 6 Frozen) and John Ripa (head of story, Moana). Osnat Shurer and Peter Del Vecho are the producers and Qui Nguyen (Dispatches from Elsewhere) and Adele Lim (Crazy Rich Asians) are authors of the project.

Raya and the Last Dragon is scheduled for US theaters on March 12, 2021.

Synopsis: Long ago, in the fantasy world of Kumandra, humans and dragons lived together in harmony. But when the sinister monsters known as the Druuns threaten the earth, the dragons sacrificed themselves to save humanity. Now, 500 years later, those same monsters have returned and it is up to a lone warrior, Raya, to track down the last dragon to stop the Druun for good. However, during his journey, he will learn that it will take more than dragon magic to save the world - it will also take trust.
