The sixth series of anime manga majokko has also arrived in Italy, which has made kids crazy all over the world.

It was back in 2004 when Toei Animation and ABC produced the first series of Pretty cure, without knowing that it would soon become a saga known all over the world, which has something like 9 series, 13 films and 9 video games. In 2005 the series landed in Italy and the rest of the world, with adaptations in English, Spanish, French, Canadian, Korean and even Taiwanese. Although, at the beginning, the series was accused of resembling (and a lot!) To the compatriot Sailor Moon (cult series of the 90s), it soon became independent with a worldwide and not comparable success. Today, years after that first series entitled Pretty Cure, the sixth unpublished series created by Izumi Todo arrives in Italy, entitled Fresh Pretty Cure which from June 16 arrives on RAI 2 every Saturday and Sunday morning at 7.55. The millions of Italian fans, therefore, can breathe a sigh of relief, despite the fact that the previous series have often been bounced from one time slot to another as a matter of audience.
The saga belongs, therefore, to the Japanese manga genre maho shojo, also called majokko, which literally means "magical girl" or "little witch". It is a very popular manga genre in Japan because it combines comedy with fantasy, passing through a not too cloying romance and the "masculinity" of its protagonists. This type of manga, in fact, always focuses on young girls, usually teenagers, with magical powers to protect the earth from enemies from other fantastic worlds. It is not, therefore, only the contrast between good and evil, but also and above all between the infantile and the mature, considering that the protagonists evolve and grow episode after episode, coming to the awareness of their powers and their being.

During the first five series we have seen various stories starring our beloved Pretty Cure, but each series features a different story, not as a sort of sequel, but as an independent story, where the characters, powers and mascot. The same Pretty Cures are never the same and, each time, they have to find each other and then fight together and destroy the enemy of the moment. In this sixth series, entitled Fresh Pretty Cure, the name of each Pretty represents a fruit and is characterized by a color and, of course, a magical symbol: Cure Peach is the peach, Cure Berry and the bilberry, Cure Pine is pineapple and Cure Passion the passion fruit. Let's learn, therefore, to know the Cure paladins, protagonists of this incredible saga.

Love Momozono: she is a hyperactive, funny and sunny fourteen year old, with brown hair that she wears gathered in two pigtails. She loves dancing almost as much as she hates studying and doing homework and is a wild fan of the dance group "Trinity". Her Pickrun, that is the key that merges with her cell phone to allow her to summon magical objects from enchanted worlds, is called Pirun, is pink and specializes in cooking, so much so that she always wears a chef's hat. The fruit of Cures Peach is peach and its colors are white and pink. Being the most romantic of the Pretty, her symbol is the heart (the pink heart).

Miki Aono Cure Berry

Miki Aono: she is a bright student, a sports lover and always perfectly fashionable. Very well-groomed in her physical appearance, Miki has long lavender hair that reaches her waist. Her dream is to become a model and have her own fashion brand. His Pickrun, he is called Blun and turns it into Cure Berry, the Pretty of hope. Its colors are blue and purple and its symbol is the blue heart (although in the other versions we see the suit of spades).

Inori Yamabuki Cure Pine

Inori Yamabuki: she is a teenager from the White Clover Christian school. He loves animals (except ferrets) so much that he wants to become a veterinarian like his dad. She is very believing, so much so that she often goes to church, perhaps to compensate for her lack of self-esteem and confidence. It turns into Cure Pine, the Pretty of faith. His Pickrun is called Kirun, he is yellow and has horns on his head. Its colors are orange and yellow and its symbol is the yellow heart (although in the other versions you can see the suit of diamonds or diamonds).

Eas (or Setsuna): initially she is the bitter enemy of the Pretty Cure and faithful only to the evil Moebius. However, when the girl sacrifices herself in the final battle with Cure Peach, she is saved by Akarun and Chiffon and is reborn as Cure Passion, the Pretty of passion. He therefore joins the Pretty Cures with his Pickrun, Akarun, who wears a ribbon on his head and has angel wings. Its colors are red and black.

Chiffon: its true identity is Infinity, the memory of a divine entity. She is a fairy from the Land of Sweets. She has a psychic power that causes her various problems with people but Love and the other girls love and care for her. The symbol on her forehead gives her a very powerful light and various abilities, including the power up attack to help the Pretty. Chiffon is protected, on earth, even from Tart, a goblin-fairy and prince of the Land of Sweets. A key role in its protection is also played by the Clover Box of happiness: a magical music box entrusted to the Pretty Cure to hide and guard it. The sweet music of the music box, in fact, prevents Chiffon from transforming into Infinity and flying into a parallel world where it would be easy prey for Moebius.

Like any self-respecting series or saga, the villains of the moment certainly cannot be missing. After all, just like in real life, if there is good, on the other hand, there must necessarily be evil too. Here, then, appearing in the series Wester, Soular, Northa and Cline, that is the companion of the Labyrinths, led by the evil Moebius. In reality, however, Moebius is nothing more than a supercomputer created by the bad guys with the intent of conquering all the enchanted worlds. Here, then, is a short journey on the main characteristics of the enemies of Pretty.

Wester: is the classic heartthrob, talkative and talkative. He loves donuts and at times he is also nice and very comical. During this series he will be the protagonist of unthinkable changes, even going so far as to betray Moebius to help the Pretty Cure.

Soular: he is the most reserved and taciturn of the Labyrith company, and his dominant color is teal. He, too, along with Wester, will be the protagonist of various changes throughout the series.

Northa: she is the highest and most ruthless of the bad guys. He hates Pretty Cures and their goodness, so much so that he creates Moebius using the DNA of a plant.
Cline: he is the oldest and wisest of the villains, almost a servant of Moebius created by himself using the DNA of a lizard.

Since last June 16, therefore, the Pretty Cure and their bitter enemies have landed on RAI 2, for a close fight. Fight which will be broadcast every Saturday and Sunday morning, at 7.55am. The pilot of the series, which aired on June 16 and titled "Cure Peach is born", starred the young Love Momozono who, returning from a public performance by the dance group of "Trinity", was attacked by a monster. A Pickrun from the enchanted world, called Pirun, who has come down on earth on purpose, manages to merge with the girl's cell phone just in time, transforming her into Cure Peach and giving her the necessary powers to defeat the monster. Immediately after the battle, the ferret Tart, who is actually the prince of the Land of Sweets, reveals to the girl that her job is to find the other Pretty Cures: Cure Berry, Cure Pine and Cure Passion, aka Miki, Inori and Setsuna . The task of the magical warriors, therefore, will be to protect all the fairy worlds from the attacks of Moebius and his henchmen, the so-called company of the Labyrinths, whose only intent is to conquer and destroy, taking possession of the memory of Infinity (aka Chiffon) to to spread sadness and unhappiness everywhere.

Sunday 17 June, with the episode entitled “Cure Berry was born”, We met Cure Berry, aka Miki, the Cure of Hope, with her refinement, her charisma and her being always perfect. The episode of Saturday 23 June, on the other hand, saw the young Inori as protagonist, with her being insecure, hesitant and without a minimum of self-confidence. While Tart, at Love's house, reveals to Miki and her friend their true identity as Pretty Cure warriors, on the other side of town, Inori is attacked by a Labyrinth monster while in the company of her little friend and his dog, Lucky. The big dog is transformed into a gigantic monster with orders to destroy the city and spread sadness and despair everywhere. But the Pretty Cure, Peach and Berry intervene on site. The two girls, however, alone cannot defeat the monster. Meanwhile, a Pickrun named Kirun, yellow and with horns on his head, witnesses the scene while he is looking for "his" Pretty, the third, who must complete the team. This is how he intervenes just before Inori is permanently attacked by the monster, merging with her cell phone and transforming her into Cure Pine. The girl, initially incredulous, then gathers the courage in two hands and joins Peach and Berry to attack the monster together, saving the city and the dog Lucky. This is how Ironi learns that she is the last Pretty, the one needed to complete the team and counter Moebius's henchmen. Thanks to the Pretty power, Inori understands that she has no reason not to have faith in herself, she understands that with will and tenacity she can do everything, even defeat a huge monster by becoming a Pretty warrior. That's why she decides to accept the invitation of her friends, initially rejected out of shyness, to join the dance group formed by Love, leaving aside the insecurity and opening up to this new incredible adventure.

Will our heroines be able to save the fairy worlds and their friend Chiffon? We will find out during the 50 episodes aired on RAI 2, from 16 June, on Saturday and Sunday morning at 7.55 am, while in the meantime the millions of Italian fans of the series are trampling about if and when, in Italy, the rights of the others will be purchased three (unreleased) series dedicated to Pretty Cure that are already in production: Heartcatch Pretty Cure, Suite Pretty Cure and Smile Pretty Cure. In the meantime, however, the same fans are enjoying the sixth series, which has finally landed in Italy, whose 50 episodes (in addition to the relative upcoming film) will also be broadcast in reruns on the digital and satellite channel RaiGulp.
