GKIDS acquires NorAm rights for "Neon Genesis Evangelion"

GKIDS, the acclaimed adult and family animation producer and distributor, announced that it has acquired the North American film, home video and EST rights to the acclaimed film Neon Genesis Evangelion. Included in the historic deal are the original 26-episode television series, as well as movies Evangelion: Death (True) 2 e The end of Evangelion. All three properties will be released on Blu-ray and digital download in 2021.

This is the first time Neon Genesis Evangelion will be available on Blu-ray in North America. The deal, concluded on the eve of the legendary saga's 25th anniversary, was negotiated by GKIDS President David Jesteadt and King Records.
