Hailey's On It! – The animated series of 2023
Hailey's On It! is an upcoming animated series that will premiere on Disney Channel in 2023 . The series tells the adventures of Hailey, a girl who must overcome her fears and face challenges to save the world.
Disney Branded Television has greenlit the series Hailey's On It! , an original animated comedy-adventure, from longtime writing and producing partners Devin Bunje and Nick Stanton and Disney Television Animation. Auli'i Cravalho voices the title character, Hailey; her alongside Manny Jacinto as Scott, Hailey's best friend; and Gary Anthony Williams as Beta, an artificially intelligent operating system from the future.
Created and produced by Bunje and Stanton, Hailey's On It! follows the adventures of Hailey Banks (Cravalho), a risk-averse but resourceful teenager on a mission to complete each item in her long list of challenging (and sometimes impractical) tasks to save the world. Hailey will be pushed out of her comfort zone to discover the greatness within as she systematically conquers her fears, whether it's winning a sand-building contest, battling a honey badger, eating a raw onion or facing the her ever-growing and complicated feelings for her best friend, Scott (Jacinto).
“Nick and Devin began their writing career at TVA nearly 15 years ago and have now come full circle by returning to their TVA roots to launch their first animated series,” said Meredith Roberts, SVP and general manager, Television Animation, Disney Branded Television. "The fast-paced comedy, the series' passionate and grounded stories about two best friends who find themselves caught up in extraordinary circumstances made it a perfect fit for Disney."
In addition to Stanton and Bunje, Howy Parkins is co-executive producer and supervising director, Wade Wisinski is producer, Karen Graci (Tuca & Bertie) is story editor and Lee Ann Dufour is art director.
Cravalho is represented by Gersh, Stagecoach Entertainment and Schreck Rose Dapello Adams Berlin & Dunham. Jacinto is represented by Alchemy Entertainment, CAA, Principals Talent and McKuin Frankel Whitehead. Williams is represented by APA and El Centro Management.
