In honor of Jim Henson's 85th birthday (1936-1990), three special bonuses from the Emmy Award-winning fan favorite series Fraggle Rock are now streaming on Apple TV +, including:

  • Down at Fraggle Rock (1987), presented and produced by Jim Henson and with the artists, performers and of course the puppets who bring the series to life, this one-hour special reveals the magic behind the production of the extravagant and fantastic series. Diana Birkenfield and David Gumpel are the producers.
  • Doozer music (1984), a music compilation of the favorite songs of those industrious Doozers including "Doozer Work Theme" and "Doozer Marching Song", features introductions by Uncle Traveling Matt and Cotterpin Doozer and is produced by Jim Henson, Lawrence S. Mirkin and Duncan Kenworthy.
  • Fraggle Songs (1983), another music compilation highlighting popular songs from the first season of "Fraggle Rock" including "Friendship Song", "Beetle Song" and "Convincing John" and is produced by Jim Henson, Lawrence S. Mirkin and Duncan Kenworthy.

As a streaming destination for Fraggle Rock, Apple TV + is also home to Apple's original short films Fraggle Rock: Rock On!, featuring award-winning special guests Alanis Morissette, Common, Jason Mraz, Neil Patrick Harris, Tiffany Haddish, and Ziggy Marley. The series aims to show everyone how we are all connected through friendship with Fraggle's new favorite stories and songs from the same beloved characters from the 80s classic series and were created in collaboration with The Jim Henson Company.

Last year, Apple announced a new partnership with The Jim Henson Company to restart the beloved classic series Fraggle Rock. The highly anticipated reboot of the beloved classic that will be reimagined as a global Apple Original series for new generations of fans to enjoy together on Apple TV +. Produced by The Jim Henson Company in association with New Regency, the series will bring together the original stars - Gobo, Red, Boober, Mokey, Wembley and Uncle Traveling Matt - for new songs and adventures, in the same spirit of the classic.

Lisa Henson and Halle Stanford will executive produce the new series for The Jim Henson Company. New Regency's Yariv Milchan and Michael Schaefer and longtime Henson collaborator John Tartaglia are also executive producers. Showrunners Matt Fusfeld and Alex Cuthbertson are attached to the executive production and write. Rita Peruggi will produce. Dave Goelz and Karen Prell (playing Red) are also involved in the project. Harvey Mason Jr. is the executive music producer on the series.
