Heaven's Design Team the anime and manga series on Crunchyroll

Heaven's Design Team (in the Japanese original: 天地 創造 デ ザ イ ン 部, Hepburn : Tenchi Sozo Dezain-bu ) is a comic animated series based on manga comics, written by Hebi-Zou and Tsuta Suzuki and illustrated by Tarako, which tells of a group of designers, who create various animal species on ancient Earth, to satisfy the requests of Kami-sama ("God", in English). The manga was published on Monthly Morning Two, the monthly magazine of the Kodansha since February 2017 and six have been collected volumes. The adaptation of the animated TV series (anime) was produced by  Asahi Production eppremiered on January 7, 2021.

The story of Heaven's Design Team

In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. He also searched for a wide variety of animals to populate the planet. However, he felt it was too hard to think of new ideas within his criteria. To solve this problem, God appointed an organization, called Heaven's Design Team, to do all that work instead!

Shimoda is a newly hired angel who acts as a mediator between God and the design team. As he enters his role, he witnesses his colleagues come up with interesting ideas, for many unique life forms according to God's wishes. From giraffes and snakes to birds, anteaters and everything in between, the possibilities for different animal species are endless!
