The seventh volume was shipped to Japan on April 12th.

Takano (Dreamin 'Sun) published the original shōjo manga in Shueisha's Bessatsu Margaret magazine in 2012 and moved it to  MonthlyAction by Futabasha in 2013. The manga ended in August 2015 and Futabasha released the fifth and final volume compiled main story book in November 2015. Crunchyroll released the digital manga in English. Seven Seas Entertainment released the original manga in North America as a two-volume omnibus.

While the main story of the manga was compiled in the first five volumes, the sixth volume collects Takano's adaptation of the anime film Orange -Mirai- (Orange Future). The volume also contains the two-part manga spinoff Orange -Suwa Hiroto, which focuses on Suwa in an alternate future. The volume was shipped to Japan in May 2017 and Seven Seas Entertainment released the volume in January 2018.

The Comic Action website released a new chapter focusing on Azusa Murasaka in July 2021 and it was the first new job at Orange in four years. Monthly Action released a special chapter of the manga on January 25 to commemorate the manga's XNUMXth anniversary. The manga is told from the point of view of Hiroto Suwa.

The manga inspired a live-action film in December 2015 and a television anime that premiered in July 2016. Crunchyroll streamed the television anime as it aired in Japan. The follow-up to the anime film Orange -Mirai- was released in Japan in November 2016. The film tells the main story from Suwa's point of view and continues the story after the original manga and television anime.

Even Dogs Go to Other Worlds: Life in Another World with my Beloved Hound by Hana Ichika adapts Ryūō and the homonymous light novel by Ririnra. Seven Seas will publish the first volume of the manga in print and digital format in May 2023 and describes the manga:

Ichika launched the manga on Micro Magazine's Comic Ride website in May 2021. Micro Magazine released the second volume of the compiled manga on July 28.
