DC's "Injustice: Gods Among Us" will receive an animated treat this fall

The latest title to join the DC Universe animated film lineup has a dense geek pedigree: Injustice, which is expected to hit home entertainment platforms this fall, takes inspiration from both Injustice: Gods Among Us (Injustice: Gods Among Us) of video game from Netherrealm Studios and the best-selling DC comic series Injustice: Gods Among Us - Year One (Injustice: Gods Among Us - Year One) by writer Tom Taylor. Warner Bros. Animation is preparing the short story, which will be distributed by Warner Bros. Home Entertainment.

The story of  Injustice (Injustice) takes place on an alternate Earth, where the Joker tricked Superman to kill Lois Lane, sending the Man of Steel into a spiral of rage. When the distraught superhero aims his laser sight to take over the world (for his own good), Batman and company set out to stop the rogue Kryptonian.

The vocal cast will feature:

  • Justin Hartley as Superman
  • Anson Mount as Batman
  • Laura Bailey as Lois Lane and Rama Kushna
  • Zach Callison as Damian and Jimmy Olsen
  • Brian T. Delaney as the Green Lantern
