International Animation Studio Cosmos-Maya acquired by NewQuest Capital

NewQuest Capital Partners has acquired a majority stake in the Singapore and India based animation studio Cosmos-Maya from Emerald Media. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Founded by Ketan Mehta and Deepa Sahi in 2013, Cosmos-Maya has produced a wide selection of children's animated shows and features, including Motu Patlu, Selfie with Bajrangi, Titoo, Eena Meena Deekae Dabangg. The studio has various shows in various stages of development and production. Among his upcoming productions is the global animated co-professional Dogtanian and the three muskets.
