Wonderful images of uncontaminated and fascinating nature are the backdrop to the story of KINA AND YUK DISCOVERING THE WORLD, distributed exclusively for Italy by Adler Entertainment. Inspired by a true story, this incredible tale is an exciting and adventurous story that, thanks to close-range shots with the animals that live in these fragile ecosystems, brings to the big screen an incredible family story in the heart of uncontaminated nature which has all the magic to delight adults and children.
Directed by Guillaume Maidatchevsky (Ailo – An adventure among the ice e Mon chat et moi, la grande adventure de Rroû), author with long experience as a documentary maker and biologist, expert knowledge of the fundamental characteristics of animal behavior, absolute protagonists of KINA AND YUK DISCOVERING THE WORLD, the film follows the adventures of a pair of polar foxes in the Far North. Separated by the melting ice, our heroes will face many dangers and explore new territories in the hope of being reunited in time for the birth of their cubs.
Synopsis
Kina and Yuk they are a pair of polar foxes ready to start a family and live peacefully among the ice floes of Canada. The temperature, however, is abnormally mild and food is scarce, forcing Yuk to venture further and further afield to hunt. When, suddenly, a terrible sound caused by the melting of the ice shocks the majestic panorama and separates the two foxes, each isolated on a piece of ice. They will have to face many dangers and explore new territories in the hope of finding each other in time for the birth of their young.
