THE LITTLE PRINCE

Starting from Thursday 6 January 2011, the very day of the epiphany, Raitre will broadcast exclusively at 15,05 the first episode of the animated series of the little prince "The Planet of Time", taken from the masterpiece of fiction for children by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry. The cartoon made in 3D computer graphics, consisting of 52 episodes each lasting 26 minutes, was born from a co-production between La Fabrique d Images, DQ Entertainment, ARD and RaiFiction and Sony Pictures Home Entertainment.

The story tells of the Little Prince inhabiting the asteroid B612, who travels among the planets of the galaxy, in the company of his friend fox, to repair the chaos caused by the evil black snake. Little Prince will know the inhabitants of the various planets and together with them, he will try to find a solution to problems. In addition to his generous heart, our hero has the gift of knowing how to talk to animals and flowers.

The Little Prince is a tireless traveler who travels sidereal distances to help people in difficulty, precisely because the terrible Black Serpent continues incessantly, to sow hatred and terror among the planets. The boy and the Fox will have to use all their wits to restore peace in the galaxy. The Little Prince has a magical book capable of giving life to drawings and therefore to his imagination. Just blow on the pages to make the objects of his imagination materialize. In times of trouble, he transforms and holds his sword like a magic brush, which allows him to bring his ideas to life. The fox is the inseparable friend of the little prince, who despite his innate comedy, possesses an indomitable and courageous character and will prove to be a precious ally in the course of numerous adventures, in various places in the galaxy.

The Rose, protected inside its glass dome, remains patient to wait for the return of the Little Prince to his planet of origin. Each episode begins with the Rose receiving a letter from the Little Prince, sent as a paper airplane via the Boabab, where she recounts her latest adventure and the lessons she learned from this experience.

The Serpete is the embodiment of evil that travels between the various planets, to sow hatred and confusion. It doesn't take much for them to insinuate themselves into the minds of the inhabitants and break their harmony. When he finds himself in trouble, he draws on all his strength, coming from magical power.

Unlike the original book, the little prince will travel between 24 planets including the planet of astronomy, the planet of books and the planet of the Great Buffoon. Here you can find the trailer in the original language.
