Disney Media & Entertainment Distribution today announced new broadcast details for upcoming Walt Disney Studios films. In addition to updates on live-action implementations Cruella, Marvel Studios " Black Widow and many other titles, the studio has confirmed the direct streaming release of the animated film Luca, as a worldwide Disney + exclusive for this summer.

Similar to the launch of Soul the animated film Disney and Pixar, nominated for an Oscar that delighted Disney + subscribers during the holidays, Luca will be broadcast directly to homes around the world exclusively on Disney + in the beginning Friday June 18th, as a special offer to kick off the summer season. In international markets where Disney + is not yet available, the film will be released theatrically, with premiere dates to be announced.

After the successful release of Raya and the last dragon, Cruella and the long-awaited Black Widow will launch simultaneously in theaters and on Disney + with Premier Access in most Disney + markets on Friday, May 28 and Friday, July 9, respectively.
