There are creatures that can fulfill the desire of a chosen teenager ... In case the young woman decides to accept the proposal, the price to pay is to become a sorceress who, for the rest of her life, will have to fight the witches, responsible for violent deaths and the suicides that ravage the world. Madoka Kaname and Sayaka Miki, friends and classmates of middle school, meet Kyubey, one of these creatures, who with the help of the sorceress Mami Tomoe offers them the possibility of fulfilling a wish and thus becoming magical girls. Another sorceress, Homura Akemi, however, tries in every way to dissuade Madoka from entering into the contract. Madoka will soon discover that being a sorceress is much more dangerous than it seems and whoever becomes one is condemned to a life of suffering and sacrifice.
