MAGA MARTINA AND THE DRAGON'S MAGIC BOOK

Maga Martina and the magical book of the little dragon will be released in Italian cinemas on Friday 12 January 2010 and try to confirm the success already achieved in bookstores by the author Knister, who with this story has sold over ten million copies throughout the world, in addition to the cartoon series. The film was produced by the Blue Eyes production company and by Trixter, directed by Oscar winner Stefan Ruzowitzky, winner with the film The Forger .

The story begins with the sorceress Teodolinda (played by Pilar Barden), struggling with the sorcerer Geronimo, who tries in every way to steal her precious magical book, where formulas capable of dominating the world are kept. Although the magician tries with a skilful disguise, to evade the surveillance of the elderly sorceress, her faithful flying dragon named Ettore (greedy and for this reason rather plump), understands immediately that the attractive blonde who crosses the woods with a bold air It is none other than Geronimo, the evil wizard. When he is about to subjugate Teodolinda to his will, through a hypnosis, Ettore takes the mirror from the dresser and places it in front of the blondie, who resumes her original form of Geronimo. The magic is reflected in the mirror and hits the wizard himself, who is petrified.Ettore makes Teodolinda find, who despite being happy for the escaped danger, understands that the time has come to look for a young sorceress who can take her place, in order to defend the precious book from Geronimo's greed. So he instructs the dragon Hector to go around the world with the magic book, in search of his heir. Ettore arrives at Martina's house (played by Alina Freund), but is mistaken for a toy dinosaur and mistreated by his nasty little brother Leo (played by Sami Herzog), who puts him in his collection. Meanwhile Martina notices the magic book in her bedroom and attracted by it, she begins to leaf through it and read the magic formulas under her breath. So unaware of everything, she begins to cause extraordinary spells, animating Leo's dinosaurs that come to life and start attacking poor Hector, who is forced to defend himself using his dragon blazes. In the absence of Leo, Ettore arrives in the kitchen and inside the fridge he sees some delicacies which, as a good greedy man, he cannot resist. But the fridge closes and the little dragon is imprisoned in the company of the chocolate pudding and salami with whipped cream. Meanwhile, Martina has opened a page where the illustration of a monkey is depicted, but her distraction is such that she does not realize that she has made a large group of wild monkeys appear inside her bedroom. She realizes the situation only when one of the monkeys stands in front of her, looking directly into her eyes and terribly frightening her. Opening the fridge she discovers the little dragon Ettore completely frozen, who screaming desperately tells her that he is the keeper of the magic book in search of a new sorceress. At that point Martina begins to understand the meaning of that mysterious book. The next day Martina takes the magic book to school to have fun with her classmates, but this creates a series of troubles. Ettore explains to Martina that his task is to use magic for beneficial purposes and not for evil, only in this way can he become the worthy heir of the sorceress Theodolinda. So Martina devotes herself to the study of spells to become a good sorceress, but Geronimo the evil wizard, plots to build the Machine for World Domination, together with her faithful helper the dog Serafino.
