Milo on Mars

Milo is a 9-year-old boy who cannot bear to carry out the small daily tasks dictated by his mother, such as taking out the garbage or being forced to a healthy vegetable-based diet. He often reflects on how beautiful life would be without his mother's directions. But one day, suddenly aliens land on earth and kidnap her mother. Only then does Milo understand its vital importance. This will lead him to face an extraordinary journey aboard a spaceship, in the company of the computer expert Gribble, in order to save her from aliens.

Landed on the red planet, he discovers that the Martians need to have mothers in order to raise their babies, so they kidnap them from the earth. Milo will face a very advanced civilization, structured on various levels and dominated by an absolute ruler.

The motion capture film, like A Christmas Carol e The Polar Express Based on the children's picture book "Mars Needs Moms" by Berkeley Breathed. Robert Zemeckis entrusted the direction of the film to Simon Wells, who in turn made use of the collaboration of actors Seth Green (who played Milo), Joan Cusack (his mother) and Dan Fogler (Gribble), who wore the sensors on their faces and on all parts of the body, they have seen themselves rendered in 3d and projected in a virtual reality with stunning graphics and breathtaking scenes.
