Creation Entertainment Media and Magic Frame Animation today announced they will adapt Georges Alexander Vagan's Christmas book series for the big screen. Paul Martin and the magic magnifying glass (Paul Martin and the Magic Magnifying Glass ). The two production companies will co-develop and produce the fantasy adventures into a film series.

The project will mark the beginning of an international IP franchise, transforming the Christmas literary universe into a film series for family audiences and presenting new licensing opportunities for partners around the world. According to the studies: The story will take the audience through many winter locations with highly detailed animated environments and follow different and challenging characters.

The first film is scheduled for release in 2025 and the scripts are currently in development.

The family fantasy and adventure follows the life of the protagonist Paul Martin, along his adventures in a wonderful world of Christmas and snow. Between books, e-books and audiobooks, the series has sold more than 100.000 copies worldwide. Originally written in French, the books and audiobooks are available in a variety of languages ​​including English, German, Italian and Spanish. The series spans five novels, with a sixth currently written by Vagan.

The animated film series will be based on the extended universe of Paul martin , with the first film adapting the first book in the series: Paul Martin and the magic magnifying glass. The story follows Paul, an 11-year-old boy, who lost his father at an early age and at the same time loses his faith in Christmas and Saint Nicholas. By chance, he comes across a very powerful magical artifact, the magical magnifying glass, which was stolen from St. Nicholas by his archenemy. The forces of good and evil begin their struggle for the soul of the young character.

The first book, and now the movie, introduces Paul to the world. The second, titled The Order of The Star of Bethlehem , returns when Paul has grown up and become a journalist, leading an investigation into a murder mystery. The third,  The Crown of Seven Kingdoms , delves even further into the battle between the light, Saint Nicholas, and the darkness, Paul's enemy, Arius. The fourth sees Paul near the end of his life, when his legacy depends on his nephew Jean-Pierre to save the world.
