Rubble & Crew – the Paw Patrol spin-off animated series

Rubble & Crew is an animated series aimed at preschoolers, a spin-off of the animated series Paw Patrol produced by Spin Master Entertainment, with animation by Jam Pull Toronto studio. Corus Entertainment also receives a production credit on the series.

Unlike the original series, which airs on TVontario in Canada, Rubble & Crew airs on Treehouse TV and StackTV. Both services are owned by the spin-off's co-producer, Corus Entertainment. Elsewhere, it premieres on Nickelodeon on Friday, February 3, 2023. The first episode of the series premiered on the official Rubble & Crew YouTube channel on January 9, 2023.

History

Builder Cove is the neighboring town of Adventure Bay. While attending his family reunion in Adventure Bay, Rubble is called to Builder Cove to help with his building projects. After building a bridge to Builder Cove, Rubble advises his family to move to Builder Cove. Here they set up a construction company called Rubble & Crew. Rubble & Crew help Builder Cove with the construction of new buildings for their various owners. Rubble & Crew vie for the job with a rival construction worker named Speed Meister. When the job is done, Rubble & Crew perform the “Wiggle and Wag” dance and the “We're a Pup Family” dance

Characters

Rubble – A bulldog and a member of the PAW Patrol who becomes the founder and leader of Rubble & Crew. He drives around with a bulldozer.

Grandpa Gravel – A serrano bulldog and grandfather of Rubble. He rides around in a food truck where he cooks some nuggets for his family.

Aunt Crane – A Continental Bulldog, Rubble's aunt, Gravel's daughter, and Motor's mother. She runs the supply warehouse in the Barkyard and gets around with a forklift.

mix – An English bulldog and cousin of Rubble, who is in the business of mixing things associated with construction such as concrete, paint, cement, and glue. He drives around in a cement truck.

Charger – A French Bulldog and Rubble's cousin who does the digging for construction projects. He sports a prosthetic left rear leg and rides a crane. He tends to get the "Zoom Zoom Zoomies" when he's full of excitement, forcing everyone to give him space.

Wheeler – A Swiss hound and Rubble's cousin who is a clean freak and deals with all things nuts and bolts. He drives around in a dump truck which he uses to haul excavated earth and various building materials. He is the only member who is not a bulldog.

Motor – At Ca de Bou, Crane's daughter, Gravel's granddaughter, and Rubble's younger cousin who handles the demolition needed for construction projects. She can also speak in third person and drives around in a vehicle with wrecking balls.

Mayor Greatway – The Mayor of Builder Cove with a reckless personality. She is Mayor Goodway's sister.

Mr Ducky Doo – Mayor Greatway's pet duck.

Speed Master – A construction worker who becomes the rival of Rubble & Crew. He works quickly with disastrous results.

Mr McTurtle – Speed Meister's pet turtle who mostly quotes "Yep-a-roozie".

Omar – An inhabitant of Builder Cove.

Lily – Omar's daughter.

Shelley the shopkeeper – The owner of a bike shop in Builder Cove. His bike shop has been expanded by Rubble & Crew so he can sell more bikes.

Camila – A truck driver.

Café Carl – A ice cream salesman who becomes the owner of an ice cream parlor that Rubble & Crew built for him.

Grocer Gabriel – A grocery store owner who tends to sing some of his exclamations.

Production

Rubble & Crew marks the first TV spin-off of the top-rated preschool series PAW Patrol , which celebrates its 2023th anniversary in XNUMX.

The series is executive produced by Jennifer Dodge, Ronnen Harary, Laura Clunie, Toni Stevens and Bradley Zweig, and is directed by Dianna Basso and supervising director Joey So. Rubble & Crew was developed by Zweig, based on the original television series PAW Patrol created by Keith Chapman. Eryk Casemiro, Executive Vice President, Nickelodeon Animation, Global Series Content is overseeing Nickelodeon, with Jen Pace as Production Executive.
