Samson and Sally, the adventures of the little white whale (original Danish title: Samson og Sally) is a 1984 Danish animated film produced by Danish Animation Company, Nordisk Film and Dansk TegneFilm lasting 63 minutes directed by Jannik Hastrup.
History
Samson is a small white whale, fascinated by the stories of Moby Dick. One day he decides to go on a long journey with no return, as the survival of his fellow men is threatened in his habitat by the merciless hunting of a species called "Man". Together with Sally, Samson's companion whale, the whale begins a harsh journey fraught with peril across the oceans. The two protagonists will bravely face the obstacles of the sea depths, but will meet new and nice friends with whom to grow, with the hope of a better future.
