Shō Harusono's Butai ni Sake manga! goes on hiatus for 6 months

The September issue of the Japanese magazine Monthly Comic Zero-Sum of ichijinsha announced that the manga Sho Harusono'S Butai ni Sake! (Blossom on Stage!) Will go on hiatus for six months. The manga will return in the magazine's March 2022 issue on January 28, 2022.

The manga centers on Asahi Oniwa, a new high school student who witnesses the performance of an older drama club student named Imari, and is quickly hooked on acting. He joins the acting club, thinking it will be a catalyst for his change, but he didn't expect to make his stage debut a month after signing up due to a lack of actors.

Harusono posted the manga on Monthly Comic Zero-Sum in April 2020. ichijinsha on Monday he published the second volume of manga books.

Harusono launched the precedent Sasaki and Miyano manga on the website pixiv in 2016. Kadokawa released the seventh volume of the manga in November 2020. It inspired a novel by Kotoko Hachijō.  Yen Press licensed the manga. The original manga spawned the spinoff of the dil Hirano to Kagiura on two secondary characters on  Monthly Comic Gene. That spin-off manga inspired the novel of the same name.

The manga Sasaki and Miyano is inspiring a television anime adaptation that will premiere in 2022.
