Six animated series competing for the Critics Choice TV Award

The prestigious Critics Choice Association (CCA) today revealed the names of the nominees for the TV category of the 29th edition of the Awards. The lucky winners will be announced at a lavish ceremony hosted by Chelsea Handler and broadcast live on The CW on January 14, 2024.

Among the contenders for the nomination for "Best Animated Series" we find: Bluy (Disney+), now in its third consecutive nomination; Bob's Burgers (Fox), fifth consecutive nomination; the acclaimed Harley Quinn (Massimo), last year's winner and now back in the running; Scott Pilgrim Takes Off (Netflix) and Star Trek: Lower Decks (Paramount+), both grappling with their second consecutive nomination. Completing the list is the recent Giovane amore (Massimo).

But the live-action series are no different: The Morning Show (Apple TV+) with six nominations and Succession (Max) with five, followed by A Little Light (NatGeo), Abbott Elementary (ABC), Manzo (Netflix) , Chemistry Lessons (AppleTV+), Loki (Disney+), Booking Dogs (Hulu) and The Bear (FX), worthy equals with four nominations each.
