Netflix has released the trailer for "Christmas eXtraterrestrial" (Alien Xmas) a sci-fi animated film, based on the 2006 illustrated book by Chiodo Bros. "Christmas eXtraterrestrial" (Alien Xmas) will debut November 20 on Netflix.
The trailer promises cheery fun for all families, complete with rocket sled, freezing rays and armed snowmen as the North Pole experiences a 3rd kind close encounter with aliens!
Synopsis: When a race of kleptomaniac aliens attempt to steal Earth's gravity to more easily take anything on the planet, only the spirit of Christmas and a little alien named X can save the world.

Stephen Chiodo, President and Creative Director of Chiodo Bros. Productions, has established himself as a highly creative special effects director with experience in stop-motion animation. Stephen perfected his animation and directing skills at the Rochester Institute of Technology, where he was awarded "Best Young Director" at the Cannes Film Festival for his 10-minute short film. Stephen's directing credits include the first animated feature film with clay I Go Pogo and the cult classic Killer Klowns from Outer Space. He also did the stop-motion animation of Elf for New Line Cinema and created the puppet cast for Paramount Team America: World Police. Stephen directed the pilots for CNN, ShowTime, Relativity Media and the Disney Channel. He also shared his experiences and knowledge teaching stop-motion animation at the prestigious California Institute of the Arts.
