Super Wish the animated series about Nelvana and Discovery's birthday parties

Get ready to step into The happy land of birthdays while Nelvana and Discovery's joint venture, redknot, kicks off its third series: Super Wish (Super desire) composed of 52 episodes lasting 11 minutes. Created by Nelvana's Vanessa Esteves and Emmy Award winner Adrian Thatcher, the animated series takes place in a magical world of endless celebration. Produced by redknot, production will begin in spring 2021. The series will air on Corus Entertainment's YTV in Canada and Discovery Kids in Latin America in 2022.

The 2D animated series aimed at 4-8 year olds follows the adventures of Jesse, a child who inadvertently uses his special extra XNUMXth birthday wish - a super wish - to wish his birthday party disappears ... and with his surprise, he does! Now he and his friends must venture into the mystical dimension of birthday, to track down and undo his wish. While meeting wonderful characters and comedic adventures, Jesse and his friends rediscover the magic of birthdays and how good it is to be a child.

Vanessa Esteves is a supervising producer, writer and content creator with over 17 years of experience in the animation industry. Esteves has worked across multiple genres with a strong focus on bridge preschool and comedy. Esteves recently supervised Agent Binky: Pets of the Universe, Max and Ruby e Ranger Rob Aalong with Nelvana's digital music video series, Toon Bops.

Adrian Thatcher is a Toronto-based animated series director who has worked in animation for over 22 years at both Walt Disney Television Animation and Nelvana. In 2010, Thatcher won a Daytime Emmy Award for Individual Achievements in Art Direction in recognition of her work on the Nelvana series. Willa's Wild Life.
