Talpis - The new animated series from November 8 on Boomerang

Una mole with magical powers, who lives in an enchanted kingdom in the basement of the world's most famous royal palace: the brand new animated series "TALPIS" gives you an appointment in World Premiere TV starting Monday November 8 every day at 18.55 on Boomerang (Sky channel 609).

The protagonist of the brand new animated show is Talpis, a mole who lives with his parents in Talponia, a town located in the basement of Windsor castle: in fact, under the famous English royal residence there is a fantastic underground kingdom full of magic and enchantment.

Adorable and a little clumsy, Talpis has an affable character and is an incurable optimist, as well as a great one lover of books. Precisely for this reason he was chosen as the keeper of the Mystical Manual of Magic, that is Manny, a magical book from which always different spells come out that will help the protagonist in his many adventures. Although unable to speak, the book Manny manages to communicate with Talpis through magical sparks and exuberant sound effects: between amazing spells and some mess, the two will experience incredible adventures in the colorful kingdom of Talponia.

The series is set immediately after the events told in the Christmas special SER TALPA - AT HER MAJESTY'S SERVICE- which has conquered young and old from the very first minute - in which Talpis had turned to the Queen of England to defeat the sworn enemy of moles, the Gardener, determined to destroy Talponia. In the brand new animated series, young viewers will find Talpis who, after having managed to defeat the Gardener, has become very popular in the underground town, acclaimed by all its inhabitants. Always with the help of the faithful book Manny, Talpis will be tasked with keep Talponian people safe and happy. It won't always be easy, but thanks to his resourcefulness and the many friends around him Talpis will always be able to find an ingenious way to solve problems.

At his side we find the mole Dotty, a great supporter of Talpis: he is a genius of inventions and knows a network of special tunnels, thanks to which he is able to reach every corner of the city with a simple touch of the lever. AND a great lover of environmental issues and firmly believes in Talpis and its mission!

Since bad blood doesn't lie, Dotty inherited her passion for inventions from her uncle Mishmosh, Talponia's most famous and bizarre inventor, busy designing more and more surprising inventions and futuristic to improve the life of moles. His specialty is knowing how to reuse the waste of human beings, always consulting with the sage Mysticus, the spiritual guide of Talponia. They also live in the magical underground realm Mona Lisa, an elegant and cultured mole that will make Talpis' heart beat, e Leicester, owner of the chain Coffee Mole and powerful business mole.

The show conveys to children - but not only! - many important values such as optimism, necessary to face even the most complicated situations, friendship, because together we are stronger, inclusion and understanding of the other, the diversity as a resource and opportunity and finally the defense of the environment together with respect for the places we live in, to be protected as a priceless heritage.
