The magical animated feature film directed by Jared Bush and Byron Howard will arrive on November 24 in Italian cinemas
Directed by Jared Bush and Byron Howard, the new animated film from Walt Disney Animation Studios, Encanto, will arrive on November 24 in Italian cinemas.
In the Italian version of the film, the singer-songwriter and musician lend their voices Alvaro Soler in the role of Camilo, Mirabel's cousin with the power to change his appearance to transform himself into whoever he wants; the actor and director Luca Zingaretti in the role of Bruno, Mirabel's uncle with the gift of foreseeing the future; the actress and singer Diana del bufalo in that of Isabela, Mirabel's sister, practically perfect and with the magical ability to make plants grow and flowers bloom; and the Colombian actress Angie Cepeda in those of Julieta, Mirabel's mother with the power to heal.
Alvaro Soler also interprets a song in the credits of the Italian version of the film.
Encanto tells the story of an extraordinary family, the Madrigals, who live hidden in the mountains of Colombia, in a magical house, in a lively city, in a wonderful and enchanted place called Encanto. The magic of Encanto has given each child in the family a unique power, from super strength to the power to heal. Everyone except Mirabel. But when she discovers that the magic surrounding Encanto is in danger, Mirabel decides that she, the only ordinary Madrigal, may be her extraordinary family's last hope.
The film is directed by Jared Bush (co-director of Zootopia) and Byron Howard (Zootopia, Rapunzel - The intertwining of the tower), co-directed by Charise Castro Smith (screenwriter of The Death of Eva Sofia Valdez) and produced by Yvett Merino and Clark Spencer. The screenplay is written by Castro Smith and Bush. Encanto includes original songs by Emmy®, GRAMMY® and Tony Award® winner Lin-Manuel Miranda (Hamilton, Moana), while Germaine Franco (Dora and the lost city, The little boss, Pick me up!) composed the original score.
