The Orient manga anime will debut in January 2022


The official site of the television anime of Shinobu ohtaka'S Nibujon the manga began streaming a promotional teaser video on Monday. The site also revealed more casts for the show and also revealed that the show will premiere in January 2022 on TV Tokyo e AT-X extension.


The new cast of the show includes Rie takahashi like Tsugumi Hattori and Satoshi Hino in the role of Naotora Takeda. As already announced, Yuma uchida will play Musashi (left in the image below) in the anime, while Soma Saito will play Kojirō Kanemaki (right).

Crunchyroll will stream the anime.

Kodansha comics is publishing the manga in English and describes the story:

At the age of 10, best friends Musashi and Kojiro sat in excited silence as Kojiro's father told stories of evil demons preying on the innocent and the warriors who defeated them. By practicing fencing, the two vow to become the strongest in the world. But as they grow up, Kojiro becomes cynical and Musashi realizes he can't go back 150 years of demon rule alone. A prodigy is called with a pickaxe, and is almost ready to settle for a lifetime of work. Yet he can't shake off the feeling that he still has the responsibility to act ... and, soon, the injustices of his world will force his hand ...

Ohtaka (Magi) launched the manga in Shonen Weekly Magazine in May 2018. The manga moved to Kodansha'S Bessatsu Shōnen Magazine the February 9
