As production moves at high speed ahead of the 2021 worldwide release of 52 seven-minute original episodes, Zoonicorn, the cross-platform preschool animation brand with Zooniverse of charming characters, has added a team of winners of numerous awards to its creative range.

Zoonicorn partners with Toonz Media Group (TMG), a world leader in family entertainment, to develop, co-produce and distribute the new 3D CGI content. TMG's distribution arm, Imira, will distribute the series globally through its global network.

A magical mix of zebras and unicorns, the Zoonicorns inhabit the dreams of young animals, taking them on incredible adventures to help them learn important socio-emotional skills. When the dream ends, the young animal wakes up feeling confident and with the necessary decision-making skills to overcome any challenge it faces.

The Zoonicorns are children, each with special talents and abilities: Purple Promi is the wise keeper of the group, offers wise advice and listens carefully to all those in need. Green Ene is the Zoonicorn analyst, a tech genius, who believes every problem has a solution that can be solved, usually with one of his devices. Blue Valeo believes the answer to any problem is physical: full of enthusiasm and confidence, she doesn't let anything get in the way. Pink Aliel is a large sphere of energy enveloped in curiosity, a bubbling force of nature, ready to explode with excitement for anything.

The successful team of children's veterinary TV writing includes:

  • The award-winning Mark Zaslove>, who serves as showrunner and lead writer / editor of the series. Zaslove's numerous credits include Winnie the Pooh, for Disney, for which he received two Emmy Awards. Zoonicorn's 11 music videos were a hit on YouTube, with other Sing Along videos offered exclusively on Kidoodle.TV, Happy Kids TV, ToonGoggles Jr. and Kabillion. The trademark and licenses of the property are led by J'net Smith of All Art Licensing.
