The Chiikawa manga on Twitter will receive the Doga Kobo anime next year

The official Twitter account for Nagano's Chiikawa manga announced Thursday that an anime adaptation has been given the green light for next year. Doga Kobo studio is producing the anime.

The manga follows the sometimes happy, sometimes sad and a little stressful everyday life of "some kind of cute little creature" (nanka chiisakute kawaii yatsu) known as Chiikawa. Chiikawa loves delicious food with bees and rabbits, works hard every day for the rewards of work and still keeps a smile.

Nagano originally began serializing the manga under the title Nanka Chiisakute Kawaii Yatsu on Twitter in January 2020, and Kodansha released its second print volume on August 23.
