The Dance Dance Danseur TV anime will premiere in 2022
The 21st volume of the manga Dance Dance Danseur by George Asakura announces that the television anime adaptation of the manga will premiere in 2022.
The project marks the first time an Asakura manga gets an anime.
The manga centers on Junpei Murao, a boy who has been fascinated by dance since he was a child, but in his second year of middle school, his father died and therefore decided he had to become more "masculine" and give up his aspirations. While still having an attachment to ballet, she undertakes the martial art of Jeet Kune Do and becomes popular in her class. Then one day, a new transfer student named Miyako Godai arrives in Junpei's class and her mother runs a dance studio. Miyako realizes that Junpei is interested in ballet and invites him to dance together.
Asakura published the manga in the magazine Big comic spirits of Shogakukan in 2015. The manga's 20th volume was released on April 12th and the 21st volume will be released on September 10th.
