A very original Australian animated series arrives on Boing (channel 40 of the DTT) for the first time on TV: GLITTERS. The appointment is for November 12, from Tuesday to Friday, at 20.00.
The show follows the adventures of two aspiring teenage heroes, Charlie and Pierce, and a spirited ghost girl, Que. The youngsters will use all their cunning and unique skills to help a now elderly hunter of monsters and ghosts carry out his bizarre supernatural adventures.
GLI CCHIAPAMOSTRI is a fresh, modern comedy series, full of references to social media and new ways of communicating for today's kids.
The series also addresses issues such as diversity, inclusion and the importance of friendship. "If someone asked what The Catcher is like, we could perhaps answer that it is a bit similar to the Karate Kid, with a supernatural Mr. Miyagi!"says Daley Pearson, author of the show.
Monstercatchers is an Australian animated television series that premiered on ABC Me on October 31, 2019. The series was created by Charlie Aspinwall and Daley Pearson, best known for their work on Bluey, and is a co-production between Ludo Studio and Media World Production. The cartoon centers on two teenage warrior heroes and a spirited ghost girl with special powers they need to replace an old monster hunter.
The two teenagers, Charlie and Pierce, discover that their "neighbor" old Helsing's house at the end of their street is actually a secret portal to supernatural worlds. Helsing believes he is communicating his knowledge to the boys as he is getting too old for his adventures, so he allows them to become his apprentices. Their group is joined by Que, a ghost girl, endowed with extraordinary powers, who will help the two boys in their adventures.
